Libraries keep reading culture alive. Centuria Books is willing to work directly with libraries that need affordable ways to keep shelves and digital catalogues stocked.

We cannot promise every request will be possible, but we are open to charitable donation arrangements, low-cost access, and practical partnerships that put more books in readers? hands.

What we offer libraries and educators

• Catalogue data in a usable form. Titles, identifiers, categories, verified content notes and heat classifications — the same structured data we publish openly at Data & API, suitable for collection records.
• Content transparency up front. Every title carries verified content notes and a published ending type, so selection decisions can be made from documented information rather than guesswork. See the Content Warnings Index.
• Review copies for selection. Available for collection consideration on request.

Why romance and genre fiction are hard to select

Genre fiction is unusually difficult to acquire responsibly. Cover and blurb rarely tell a selector how explicit a book is, whether it contains subjects a community collection needs to handle carefully, or whether a title assumes you have read three earlier books. Publishers seldom publish that information in a comparable form, so selection ends up relying on reading each book or guessing.

We treat that as a data problem rather than a marketing one. Heat level, content notes, ending type and series position are recorded during manuscript review and published in the same shape for every title — which means they can be compared across the catalogue instead of interpreted book by book.
